Stylish vintage mid century modernist fireplace tool set attributed to designer Tony Paul. This set stands perfect on its own with no wobbles. As you can see in the photos, the wood does show its age a little bit by not being consistent in color throughout. Also the poker is slightly burned on one side (pictured). The poker may need a little tiny bit of extra minor cleaning of any left over soot I may have missed.

I took steel wool and oil to it a few times, and cleaned the metal pretty well, but its possibly not absolutely perfect just yet. The other pieces are not covered in soot, although very minor age related wear might still have the slight possibility to be found in places. Overall these fireplace tools are looking pretty good for their being around since the 1950's! This fireplace tool set will take up a spacial footprint of roughly 31.5" tall x 9.5" wide x 5.75 deep.
