There are parts that a magnet sticks to, so they are not brass. This has been used and you can tell by the fact that some ends are blackened or tarnished. I feel it adds to the charm. The bristles on the brush show some wear.

This is about 30 1/2 tall. The base measures approximately 9 1/4" x 5 3/4".

There is tarnishing present on the brass. Set is missing the fire poker.
