Vintage Virginia Metalcrafters Brass Fish Andirons AND Tool Set RARE Dolphins

This lovely RARE set was crafted by Virginia Metalcrafters in the 1960's from solid brass. This set is lacquered and in wonderful condition with no pitting or really signs of use. It is still so bright and eye catching.

The Tool set includes : the stand, the poker, the shovel and the tongs. The decoration is often called a dolphin, a fish or even a dragon.

The Virginia Metalcrafters logo is on the bottom of the tool set and on the inside of the andirons / chenet / firedogs. The tool stand measures approx.

33 inches tall x 10 inches wide x 7 inches deep. The andirons measure approx 15 inches tall x 10 inched wide x 18 inches deep. This set fits well in many decors including Art Nouveau, Mid Century Modern to Modern. The Andirons have the small back dolphin sitting on cast iron feet.

The feet are not original as I had to replace with other vintage ones. This pair is just stunning and will be used for years to come, or just displayed to enjoy its beauty. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices.

I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible.
