Vintage Brass & Glass Fireplace Fire Tools Set Mid-Century Fontana Arte Attrib

Please note that this set is missing the middle poker tool. Vintage brass fireplace tool set with a glass base.

There are two of these sets on the 1st Dibs site priced at thousands of dollars. They are listed as being attributed to Fontana Arte. I couldn't find any exact evidence of that, but it may very well be the case. This set is missing the poker but has the shovel and brush tools. The poker is actually a solid brass rod with four bends in it, so if you know someone who can bend brass, it shouldn't be too hard to recreate the poker tool.

You can see pictures of the poker online. The set is extremely well made and quite solid. It would be a very classy addition to any Mid-Century Modern home.

Condition: Set is missing the poker. Otherwise, very good used condition.

It has some typical scratches and lighter wear to the brass. The glass looks great and judging by the brush and shovel, it doesn't look like it saw much use.
