Vintage Antique Fireplace Fender Brass Lions Paw Feet Regency Original Tool Set 58. Antique Fireplace Fender Brass Fireplace Fender Guard Screen with pierced design, including a set of very detailed fireplace tools. It is early 19th Century in date (Late Georgian / Regency) and stands on 3 cast brass Lions Paw Feet.

It is made of heavy brass sheet with a rolled top edge and has pierced fretwork decoration. The riveted iron base plate retains the sockets which hold the Fire Iron supports which hold the original set matching fireplace tools, (which are rare to find together as set still). The broom portion attachment is missing and needs replacing. The metal'stops' to retain the fire irons in position.

Please note the exquisitely fine and detailed hand pierced craftsmanship. A true rarity among fireplace fenders. This piece is large and has over a century of lovely patina on the brass. 53" wide x 14" deep, not counting the claw feet x 9 tall. See photos for description of this amazing set.
