The Best Heavy Hand Forged Iron & Brass Antique Fireplace Tools Tool Set

For your consideration is this stylish, extra heavy, antique brass and iron tool set. It measures 35" tall overall as shown and the bottom tray is 10 x 6 1/2" not including the feet.

The 4 piece set consists of the stand, a poker, a shovel and a brush. Everything is extra heavy, hand forged or hand made. There are no screws or bolts, only pins and rivets. The footed tray is either cast brass or bronze.

The handle on the stand features a tapered hand twisted, diamond shaped detail. Everything about this set just screams extra special. My guess is it's New York made, likely late 1800's or early 1900's. The stand alone weighs over 17 pounds. It is dirty but structurally sound.

To avoid any surprises, it does have a slight wobble on a hard flat surface. I don't see anything obvious that is causing it.

This is a hand made item so evidently the tray has a slight twist or one of the feet is just off a bit. It completely disappears on a rug and the scale, style and construction is easily the first thing you notice.
