Minimalist iron fireplace tool set by Ann Maes for Mace Line post modern black

Rare find in this Ann Maes designed fireplace tool set. Cast and wrought iron in a simple black finish over this timeless design.

Nicely made and finished, an original set with five tools. Direct from a local downsizing this looks great as found. There is a very slight'twist' in the frame/base but rather subtle, otherwise just light and expected signs of use.

Please study photos, see condition report and send any questions you might have. 29" tall to top of handle, base is 13.5" x 7. Weighs about 19.5 pounds. Very good condition overall, makes a strong appearance. One condition issue to point out. There is a slight twist in the frame/base. Subtle, but when you look straight down the top (rail that holds the tools) is slightly out of alignment (not squared) with the base. Didn't notice until taking the photos but it is there; no signs of related damage. There are no bends, no dents, no signs of abuse, no visible curves and the frame is solid and very strong.

Not clear how this'twist' occurred but thought it should be noted- no attempt was made to straighten. Otherwise this is in excellent condition.

No cracks, no chips, no bends, all original, welds are all tight, no repairs etc. Tools saw light, expected use but not damaged. Original painted surface shows expected wear and scratches, mild surface corrosion on a few.

The hinged tool moves nicely, brush head shows moderated use but still practical. See photos for the best description and send any questions you might have.
