For your consideration is this high style set of art deco/mid century modern brass and cast iron andirons and fireplace tool set. The design in cast bras is that of a stylized flame or leaf. The andirons measure 19 1/2" tall and 17 1/4" deep overall.

The sweeping brass arm tool holder measures 27 tall without the tools. The tools all measure about 29 1/2 long. The set likely dates to 1950 or so and was made by New York artists and designers Don Lipsey and Neil Peper and are signed on the back.

They remain in very good as found condition. It looks like some screws have been replaced on the tool handles but everything is tight and solid. Otherwise they retain a nice original surface.
