Important & Substantial Antique Andirons Dogs Set & Fireplace Tool Set, Brass

This is a very large and important fireplace andiron and tool set from a local collector. We were told that the set came out of the Wannamaker estate here in Philadelphia.

The finials on both the andirons and tools have 4 women's heads in a circle and 4 griffin heads with horns. The andirons measure approximately 26' tall, 17" wide and 28"deep, and weigh 41 pounds each. The tool set measures approximately 37" tall, 13" wide and 8 deep; and weighs 34 pounds.
