Antique Solid Iron & Brass Fireplace Tool Set Heavy Quality Hand Forged Peerless Style. Fireplace tool set, solid hand forged, hammered and twisted iron, with solid brass finials. There are no markings on the stand or the tools. Good guess would be early Arts & Crafts period late 1800s. The top brass finials on the tools are forged on. The stands finial screws off. The company Peerless styles there fireplace tools similair to this set. The stand measure about 30 1/2 high.

The base is 9 1/2" wide, and 6 1/4" deep. The set weighs about 16 lbs.

The fork is 30 1/4", broom 23 1/4", 20 1/4 shovel. The finials by themselves are just shy of one pound each. Very nice antique condition other than one of base legs has been knocked off. There is some light surface wear in some areas, but have been lightly oiled, and wiped. The base still stands upright with the tools in place. Idea, since the base screws off, you could replace it. Or just leave it as it sits.
