This is for an Antique Solid Brass Tool Set that is very unique in style! It has a round pierced base that holds the 4 tools : a poker, shovel, tongs and a brush that pulls back into a holder to cover it up! The bristles are most likely horse hair with all being intact except one small hole empty, so its in very good condition! The handle shows some wear with small paint missing, easily could be repainted if you choose. The brush holder is hand hammered with raised decorations to add to the ornate feel of this antique Victorian set. There are no makers marks but appears to be English based on the feel of the brass and the tone of the gold. The total piece measures approx. 27 inches tall x 8 inches in diameter. The shovel measures: 24 inches long. The poker measures: 20 inches long. The tongs measure: 23.5 inches long. The brush when closed measures: 22 inches long. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices.
