Mid Century Portland Willamette Brass / Bronze Fireplace Tools Set

Set of Mid Century Brass / Bronze Fireplace Tools by Portland Willamette. This set contains: Poker Brush Shovel Base, with tool holder at top. The handles on the 3 tools are the star of this show. Please see the pics as they are the best description.

I have seen these tool sets from Portland Willamette described as copper, brass and bronze. I believe these to be bronze handles on the 3 tools. I believe the holder and top of the brush to be brass. I have applied a magnet to this set and the magnet does NOT stick to either the handles, the holder, or the top of the brush. This indicates bronze and brass. The magnet DOES stick to the base, the poker, the shovel, and the shafts of the 3 tools. This indicates these pieces are base metal. The underside of the base is marked as "Portland Willamette, P2-15". Again, please see the pics as they are the best description. This set is in excellent vintage condition, for either display or use. I have not cleaned this set. Different people have different tastes...

Age patina or not patina. That said, I expect this set to clean up nicely. I will leave that up to the lucky owner of this fireplace tool set.

The set stands 29 tall from the floor to the top of the handles as they sit in the holder. The base is 10.5" wide and 7" deep.
