CIRCA 1900 Fire Place set Medallion Andirons HAMMERED Fire Dogs with tools Iron

Lovely and quite rare 19th Century Brass & Steel Medallion Fire dogs with matching tool rack. This is in excellent condition for age. Found at an estate in Massachusetts, believed to be made in Georgia.

They are made of steel, iron and brass. It comes with tool holder & two tools included, although same era not sure if they were original to the piece. The tool holder/rack does match the fire dogs. Fire dogs and rack have flat lion paws at bottom, nice hammered details, these are just stunning! These are larger than a standard set, so please be sure they will fit your fireplace.

You could look to have them reworked to fit any fireplace. Fire dogs measure 25.5" from floor to top of medallion; 22.5" from front to back; the tool rack is 38.5 in height. I was able to locate the Andirons online at an antique dealer. This is just the andirons, no tool holder.
