The poker is a reproduction. The finial was cast from the shovel by Ball and Ball in Pennsylvania. Brass has been lacquered but tarnished. I don't know the age but the shovel and tongs have been in my family for over 100 years. Shovel 24 1/2 inches, tongs 26 1/2 inches, poker 30 inches long. Elegant addition to your fireplace.
