MID-CENTURY MODERN LUTHER CONOVER BRASS & WROUGHT IRON FIREPLACE TOOL SET FROM 1950'S. Here's a wonderful fireplace tool set with the stand by Luther Conover of California.

It features the highly desired BRASS handles on the tools which lends this set more modernist than the ones with wood handles. The set with the stand measures 28 x 9 x 7 and each tool measures 27 long. This vintage fireplace tool set is in good condition for being 60 years old.

The brass handles have minor scratches/scuffs from use. It has the original black enamel which has minor paint loss and surface rusting spots throughout, including the top resting plate, which is normal for vintage wrought iron. The surface rust is heavier at the ends of the shovel and poker. The wood on the broom sweeper has some minor surface scratches and the bristles are still straight and stiff. Please see photos for condition and excuse the glare spots reflecting off the brass.
