1908 Wm H JACKSON BRASS FIREPLACE ANDIRONS TOOL SET CLAW FEET IMPRESSIVE. From a very high end home in the Pittsburgh Pa area comes this set of great looking Andirons and matching Tool Set.

I did not try and clean this in any way and will come to you in as found condition. The Andirons each have a metal tag marked William H. Jackson, 2 W 47th Street New York and Pat Dec 8 1908, Wm H. Jackson New York cast into the Cast Iron.

These Andirons are very detailed with a Pineapple finial and a triangle base with Hairy Paw Claw Feet. These are 4 1/2" in diameter at the widest and the Pineapple Finials are 2 1/2" in diameter. The Andirons are 22" high and the base is 11" x 11" x 11". It is 11" from the front of the Andiron to the Cast Bass Finial that attaches to the Cast Iron leg with the Cast Iron part being 17" long.

They are 28 long from front to back. A piece is broken off on one Andiron at the back Cast Iron foot as shown. The matching Tool Set has a Shovel, a Log Grabber, a Poker, and a round Broom. Almost all the bristles are missing from the broom but the wooden piece that holds the bristles is unbroken. All the Tools have a ornate Cast Brass top. This holder arm has been bent on the right side so that it will not hold the tool on that end. The holder stands 28 1/4' high with longest tool being 30 long. This stands 34 high overall with the tools. The Andirons weigh about 30 pounds each and the Tool Set weighs almost 25 pounds.
